I started my career as special correspondent for the Swiss National Broadcasting Corporation TSI in Lugano. Following my real passion for pictures I decided soon to shoot and edit my own pictures and in two years time I learned from a professional cameraman. Today I still shoot and edit my own reports but I particularly enjoy filming and editing for other journalists.
From experience I learned how to get out of the most difficult and complicated scenario with a story ready to feed. My aim is to deliver top-quality footage even in the worst situation. I believe that the camera should translate in the most genuine and strong way the stories that the journalist witnesses on the field.
Experienced in hostile environments-filming. Always ready to travel. Extensive knowledge of Avid editing (studio and lap-top). Fully equipped with my own ENG/EFP material. Familiar with all broadcast formats.
In 2004 I was awarded with the First Prize of the Swiss Journalist Association for the best TV reportage (“One day in Nablus”).
In 2005 awarded as one of the best Swiss Reporters.
